Our Mission
The Institute for Educational Equity & Opportunity (“IFEEO”) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, organization
dedicated to the pursuit of educational equity and opportunity, particularly for disadvantaged United States’ public
school children through legal means. The IFEEO is especially interested in fair and equitable public school finance laws.
Towards this end, IFEEO is concentrating its efforts towards the creation and implementation of four main projects:
1) the study of the history of the education clause in the state constitutions of all fifty states; 2)
creation of the IFEEO Legal Fellowship and Summer Associate Award; 3) implementation of the IFEEO Educational
Archives Project; 4) grants to counsel for plaintiffs for assistance with drafting an article regarding school
equity and finance litigation.
For more detailed information on IFEEO or additional information regarding any
